Eligibility Your passport is from a country other than the US AND the primary purpose of your stay in the US is to participate in a sponsored or planned international exchange activity. Your spouse and/or unmarried children who are over 14 days old and under the age of 18 who accompany you are also eligible. Your passport is from a country other than the US, And you are visiting for holidays, vacation, or to visit family members of friends living in the United States, And you are under age 70, And you enroll in Gateway Visit America within 7 days of your arrival in the US. Your spouse under age 70 and/or unmarried children who are over 14 days old and under age 18 are also eligible if they meet the same requirements. You will be traveling outside your Home Country/Country of Residence for 180 days of less. Your spouse and/or unmarried children over 14 days old and under age 18 are also eligible. * Not available for travel to the US. * For purpose of this plan, if your passport country (Home Country) is different from the location or country in which you permanently reside (Country of Residence), you will not be covered in either location. * Please note: Home Country is the country from which an insured person holds a passport, Country of Residence is the location or country where the insured person maintains a primary permanent residence. If the US is your Home Country/Country of Residence, for the purpose of eligibility in this plan, the US means the 48 contiguous states, plus Alaska, Hawaii and District of Columbia. Your plan to travel abroad, outside your Home Country/Country of Residence, for 6 or more consecutive months. Your spouse and/or unmarried children who are over 14 days old and under age 18 are also eligible if they meet the same requirements. Children age 18 and older, who meet eligibility requirements, may apply under separate Application. *  Persons holding B visa type for travel to the US are not eligible to enroll. * For purpose of this plan, if your passport country (Home Country) is different from the location or country in which you permanently reside (Country of Residence), you will not be covered in either location. * Please note: Home Country if the country from which an insured person holds a passport, Country of Residence is the location or country where the insured person maintains a primary permanent residence. If the US is your Home Country/Country of Residence, for the purpose of eligibility in this plan, the US means the 48 contiguous states, plus Alaska, Hawaii and District of Columbia. You plan to travel outside your Home Country/Country of Residence for 45 days or less between your departure and your return home, regardless of number and frequency during the year of coverage. Your spouse and/or unmarried dependent children who are over 14 days old and up to age 19, or up to age 23 if full-time student at an accredited institution of higher learning are also eligible when the Family Plan is selected. * Please note: Home Country is the country from which an insured person holds a passport, Country of Residence is the location or country where the insured person maintains a primary permanent residence. Annual Plan: Your extended travel will occur during a 12-month period and each international trip is more than 45 consecutive days but does not  exceed 365 days. 6-Month Plan: Your extended travel will occur during a 6-month period and each trip is more than 45 consecutive days but does not exceed 185 days. Spouse and/or unmarried dependent children who are over 14 days and up to age 19, or up to age 23 is fulltime student at an accredited institution of higher learning are also eligible when the Family Plan is selected. Travel must take place outside your Home Country or Country of Residence. Home Country if the country from which an insured person holds a passport, Country of Residence is the location or country where the insured person maintains a primary permanent residence.
